In order to receive any sort of refund for a class or dinner you sign up for, you must notify us, in advance, that you will not be there. Our cancellation policy is outlined below, and your credit depends on how long in advance you notify us of your absence.
More than 14 days before your event date:
You may cancel and request a full refund as long as you notify us at least two weeks prior to your class.
Rescheduling Option: If you sign up for something and need to change the date for any reason, there is a $15 rescheduling fee for the effort involved in transferring your information, reconfirming, and attempting to fill your space. You may take this option as long as you contact us with at least 14 days notice, but please try to let us know of your class change as soon as possible.
Fewer than 14 days before your event:
If you need to cancel (for any reason) and you email us with at least 7 days notice (but less than 14 days before the event), you are eligible for a half-price refund of your originally scheduled event price to use for any future event. Credits must be used within one year of being issued. Please email us at email@example.com.
Fewer than 7 days before your event:
No Credits or Refunds
If you sign up for an event cannot attend FOR ANY REASON (you got the date/time wrong, car broke down, you are sick, had to work late, etc.) the entire event fee is NON-REFUNDABLE, and no future credit will be given –– no exceptions. There is limited space available in each class and event and all of our events involve materials costs and considerable preparation time. When a seat is empty that could have been filled, we feel this is only fair.
We understand that folks are used to cancelling dinner reservations or simply not showing up, but we are not a restaurant and we are not open every night for dinner. Our dinners only go forward if we have reserved the appropriate number of seats, and late cancellations can easily spell the difference between profit and considerable loss for the farm.
Send someone in your place: If you cannot show up for any reason and it is too late for credit or refund, you are welcome to send someone else in your place. Please just let us know by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Phone calls are not a reliable way of contacting us.
You can also try to sell your seat/s on Craigslist.
